Error while accessing the Shipping Rate feature in Sage 100

A feature called “Shipping Rate” is provided in Sage 100 which helps in calculating the Freight Amount by the ship code. But, sometimes when a user tries to access “Shipping Rate Maintenance” screen the below message "Setup indicates that this option is not available on your system" pops-up. This message tells that the feature is not accessible due to the fact that the feature is not set-up to be used. You can get past the message by setting up the system accordingly.

Error Message: 
Reason: 
         Sage 100 systems are not configured to use the shipping options to calculate the Freight.

Solution:
         1) Login to Sage 100 system with Administrator level credentials.
         2) Navigate to Sales Order > Setup > Sales Order Options.

         3) Click on “Entry” panel and change the selected value of ‘Use Shipping Code to Calculate Freight’                            field to ‘Yes’  or ‘Actual’.
              “Yes” to use preset the Shipping Codes set up in Shipping Rate Maintenance to calculate                                     freight charges.
             “Actual” to calculate freight charges using the total weight of all items ordered.
